When i lived in the Philippines from 2012-2105 i had an XR250 (the best and biggest offroader i could find at the time) because i love trail riding.
Now when the time came to go back home to Australia i took some pics of the bike and put it on the local classifieds, ayosdito i think it was called at the time.
Now when i was preparing the bike for a photo the bike was leaning on it’s side stand so i decided to put a brick underneath to balance the moto upright so i could get a better picture.
When i was positioning the brick underneath the stand the bike slipped off and the side stand landed on my hand.
My reaction was to pull my hand away really quick which i did. But after feeling pain shooting down my wrist for a couple of weeks afterwards i came to the conclusion that i must have also made the side stand land or pull on my little finger as i pulled my hand away.
It wan’t until a few months later that my feelings of damaging or breaking my finger came apparent.
A lump on my little pinky finger joint on my left hand was forming.
I kept an eye on it to see if it would get bigger or disappear but until now (nearly 5 years later) my finger lump has grown.
I have a few videos of the finger on my Youtube channel but i wanted to show you the latest extreme measure to finally get rid of this annoying lump. Enjoy the video below and please share on your own social media.
And remember…Motorcycling is more fun in the Philippines!
